At Hiyoshiya, we have been carrying on the tradition of Kyo-Wagasa for more than 160 years over five generations, and we are still making Wagasa, including Ban-Gasa, Janome-Gasa, and Nodate-Gasa, as well as restoring various types of Wagasa used in temples, shrines, and traditional events.
We continue taking on new challenges while preserving tradition, expanding into design lighting and interior design, and presenting products and spaces that bring the beauty of natural materials and traditional techniques into modern life.
