We design, plan, and produce kimono costumes, accessories, interior decorations, and small Japanese goods using traditional kimono materials. Kimono dressing performance is also provided. We incorporate creativity and innovation into our products and performances while maintaining respect for Japanese traditions and quality. We offer unique uses and design approaches for kimono materials. Nobuaki Tomita received the Foreign Minister’s Commendations in 2021, and has been contributing to international cultural exchange. Our originally designed kimono costumes tell a story, introduce audiences to a deeply moving, delicate, and beautiful Japanese cultural experience, and provide visual appeal. We offer craftsmanship that fuses new designs with traditional techniques handed down for generations. We plan and produce kimono costumes, accessories, interior decorations, and small Japanese goods using traditional crafts such as Nishijin brocade and Kyo-Yuzen. High-quality silk is used. Our products feature lustrous silk as well as delicate and traditional Japanese patterns and motifs, and they showcase our craftspeople’s techniques through original and brilliant colors and designs. Nishijin brocade is yarn-dyed and woven with warp and weft yarns, whereas Kyo-Yuzen textiles are white fabrics dyed by stencil dyeing or hand-drawing. Furthermore, new materials can be created through distinctive techniques such as gilding and embroidery. Fabrics born through interactions between people are beautiful, lustrous, and inspiring.
