Renaissance Energy Research (RER) was established in 2004 by founder Osamu Okada with the aim of developing business in a variety of areas based on the catalyst-related technologies he had developed in his previous position at Osaka Gas. Having obtained the rights to manufacture, sell, and license the related patents from Osaka Gas, we are targeting business areas that have been difficult for gas companies to enter. We are developing CO2 membrane separation technology, an innovative CO2 separation and capture technology that will accelerate the realization of a low-carbon society, as well as a high-performance methanation catalyst and a high-performance hydrogen production catalyst that will be a fundamental technology for the future hydrogen society.
