KAPSEL is a general-purpose simulation software for particle dispersion systems developed at Kyoto University that shortens the duration, reduces costs, and improves the accuracy of material exploration in material development. KAPSEL calculates mesoscale dynamics (including concentration distribution, interface, and flow), which are difficult to simulate, from fundamental equations, achieving speed and accuracy beyond that of existing fluid analysis software. It can be used for a wide range of material development applications, including liquid crystals, coatings, medical biomaterials, and DDS.
