Our company was founded in 1909 in Nishijin, Kyoto, as a wholesaler of raw silk mainly for kimono.
Nishijin is a town deeply related to the textile industry. Today, based on the experience we have built up in the industry over the years, we manufacture and sell our own textile products, as well as handle raw yarn.
In addition to manufacturing Japanese traditional textile items, such as fukusa, a tea ceremony utensil that is related to traditional Japanese culture, and Japanese tenugui, hand towels colored using traditional dyeing methods, recently we have been manufacturing a number of knit products, including gloves and wiping cloths made of special fibers for industrial use, and socks for the general market. Based on our experience as a thread wholesaler, we select and procure raw yarns ideal for each product, and then sew and ship products under our direct management.

(1) Micro Highness product series made with microfibers and conductive fibers
This knit product series combines a microfiber that removes fine dust and dirt and a conductive fiber that prevents static shocks. The series includes work gloves and wiping cloths, which can be customized into bag or mitten shapes, or with a core material.
(2) Our new product—Knit tabi (tabi-type socks)
This product will be released on the market this year. Its inner side that contacts the skin is made of silk and the outside is made of cotton. Tabi is Japanese traditional footwear that features a separation between the big toe and the other toes. It fits snugly around your feet and goes well with Japanese-style shoes such as zori sandals.
