We were the first company in Japan to commercialize polyethylene foam (block method). To meet customer expectations, we continue to manufacture in small lots and many varieties. In addition to Japan, we also have production plants in Vietnam and China and serve a global market that includes Southeast Asia. Many of the cushioning materials on the market are foams that we manufacture. In the industry, we are the top manufacturer in Japan with a domestic market share of over 70%.

Since our founding in 1965, we have evolved and advanced with “foaming” technology as our raison d’être, and we have been providing our resource-saving foaming technology for the efficient use of plastic and rubber for half a century to meet the needs of the times. When we were first founded, polyethylene and rubber foams were used in household goods, footwear, and even construction materials. But today, with the popularity of bullet trains, automobiles, air conditioners, computers, and so on, their applications have increased dramatically. We will continue to provide our “Kyo Foam®” to our customers by interweaving our seeds with various needs.
