Kamisharaku, a seasonings shop to enjoy the aromas. We offer seasonings made from seasonal citrus fruit peels, handmade using a proprietary process to bring out the best aromas and colors. In addition to our original seasonings, which are distinctive in taste, aroma, and color, we also offer a variety of other products, such as okaki (Japanese rice crackers) made with these seasonings. Our greatest pride is our dried citrus peels, which are handmade using a proprietary process, taking special care to preserve the original colors and aromas of citrus fruits. By blending these dried citrus peels with carefully selected ingredients, we have created unique tastes and aromas. Our aromatic shichimi spice blend is made by blending these dried citrus peels with Japanese chili pepper (which packs a sharp, spicy punch, a rich flavor, and a sweet aroma), Kishu’s specialty budou sansho pepper, and other carefully selected ingredients. Our original aromatic salt is made by blending the dried citrus peels with Nanko-ume plums, matcha green tea from Tsujiri in Kyoto, sea salt that has been finely ground to a mild finish, and other ingredients carefully selected for their aroma. They are widely used: tourists buy them as souvenirs, locals use them as regular seasoning, and even professional chefs use them in their F&B establishments.
