A textile that has been greatly transformed and developed from the obi (kimono sash) manufacturing process. The outer fabric is made of 100% pure silk, an eco-friendly material that contains no real or chemical fur. The weave density, which is at the textile's limit, makes it difficult to discern the fabric grain and prevents the loss of fine fibers. A non-chemical organic oil (primarily beeswax) is used as a finishing agent for a fabric that is gentle on the skin and very pleasant to touch. A careful hand trimming results in a beautiful texture and draping quality. Area of Interest
