Kizakura was established in 1951, over 70 years ago, in Fushimi, home to many long-standing companies with hundreds of years of history. Taking advantage of our position as a latecomer in the industry, we have gained the support of our customers through our original ideas and innovative approach, such as the TV commercials we pioneered in the industry and product development that is not bound by preconceived ideas. We hope that by providing a space where people can become more familiar with Japanese sake, we can deepen their understanding of Kizakura and, by extension, Japanese sake culture. Area of Interest

We are a manufacturer that offers reasonably priced, high-quality sake based on our cultivated experience and expertise. We have won 18 gold medals in Japan's most prestigious national sake competition over the past 20 years and produce sake using both traditional techniques and new technologies. A richly flavorful Yamahai jikomi sake fermented twice as long as usual with lactic acid bacteria. A sake brewed with yeast isolated from yellow cherry blossoms. A sparkling junmai sake with natural, fine bubbles derived from yeast. We produce these and other unique, high-quality products.
